Town of Bradford Committees

Bradford’s various committees play an essential role in fostering community spirit, planning for the future, and supporting the town’s operations. The Bradford Days Committee organizes the town’s annual celebration, bringing residents together through family-friendly events and local pride. The Recreation Committee works to create and maintain spaces and programs that promote healthy, active living for all ages. The Budget Committee collaborates closely with town officials to review and recommend responsible financial plans that meet community needs. Meanwhile, the Future Fire Department Committee is actively exploring the development of a dedicated fire department to enhance emergency services and public safety for the town.

Future Fire Station Committee

The Future Fire Station Committee is dedicated to the planning and construction of a new fire station that will benefit the citizens of the Town of Bradford.​

Bradford Days Committee

Bradford Days is held the 3rd weekend in July each year. This two-day event celebrates the town with family-friendly games and activities, including a morning parade and evening live music and fireworks display. Bradford Days is entirely volunteer-run and funded by generous donations and fundraising activities.

Recreation Committee

The Bradford Recreation Department (REC) is a community-driven initiative dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Bradford, Maine. Committed to fostering a sense of unity and well-being, the REC provides diverse recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. From sports leagues and community events to crafting fairs and seasonal celebrations, the REC strives to create a vibrant and inclusive environment where families and individuals can connect, have fun, and build lasting memories.

Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is a 10-member appointed board responsible for meeting periodically to discuss, oversee, and assist the Select Board with the annual budget for the Town of Bradford.
