Meet Your Town Boards

Bradford is served by several local boards that guide key aspects of town governance and development. The Select Board oversees day-to-day municipal operations, sets local policy, and ensures essential services are delivered effectively. The Planning Board is responsible for reviewing land use proposals, zoning matters, and guiding the town’s growth in alignment with community goals. The Board of Appeals provides a fair and balanced process for reviewing variance requests and appeals related to zoning decisions. Together, these boards work to support transparent governance, responsible development, and the long-term well-being of Bradford’s residents.

The Select Board is the executive body responsible for overseeing the governance and administration of the Town of Bradford. Planning Board

The Planning Board is tasked with guiding the development and land use within Bradford. This board reviews site plans, subdivision proposals, and zoning changes to ensure they align with the town's comprehensive plan and regulations. Their goal is to promote sustainable growth while preserving the town's character and resources.

Appeals Board

The Appeals Board provides a vital check on local governance by hearing and deciding appeals on decisions made by other town boards and officials. Whether it’s a zoning dispute or a variance request, the Appeals Board ensures that all residents have a fair and impartial venue for resolving conflicts and issues related to town regulations.
